EY is seeking a Senior Application Systems Engineer to lead Salesforce.com implementations and manage client projects. The role involves developing user interfaces across various platforms and requires a blend of technical and interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- A four-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience implementing Salesforce.com with teams of 5 or more
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java or C# preferred), SQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Force.com platform programming in Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL
- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification
- Familiarity with relational database concepts
- Ability to be a self-starter and handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Willingness to travel based on client needs
Responsibilities
- Identify customer requirements and develop front-end components and services
- Define and execute deliverables with efficiency
- Manage completion of deliverables and maintain engagement economics reports
- Track resource plans and budgets, and handle project statuses
- Participate in client sessions as a workstream member or team lead
- Actively participate in the design of software components
- Independently write quality code that is simple, reliable, and scalable
- Analyze and fix moderate to complex problems during development and support
