Job Description

EY is seeking a 360 Careers Intern for their Tax team, focusing on the China Overseas Investment Network. This internship offers structured experiences across various tax service areas, allowing interns to develop skills and knowledge in taxation while working with diverse teams and clients.

Requirements

A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting; supported by a strong academic record.
Meet the minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state your base office is located prior to beginning full-time employment and have a demonstrable plan for passing the CPA exam.
Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) languages, including the ability to listen, understand, read, and communicate effectively both written and verbally in a professional environment.
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites.

Responsibilities

Handling and supporting a wide variety of tax compliance and reporting processes.
Assisting with tax due diligence on behalf of a private equity firm.
Preparing tax returns for a range of entity types and jurisdictions, including privately held businesses to publicly traded companies.
Working with audit teams to determine whether tax accounts are appropriate for financial statements.
Researching tax code and writing memos for clients.
Improving the tax effectiveness of supply chain structures.
Developing and utilizing a diverse network of colleagues across the business.
