Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Design & Engineering team in Southern California. The role involves providing sustainable mechanical engineering solutions, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems for various infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • 6+ or more years’ relevant MEP experience within the Living practice landscape
  • Professional Engineer in California
  • Ability to communicate both internally and externally regarding client needs/desires and technical solutions
  • Experience working with projects that utilize Fundamental knowledge of Autodesk Platforms and other digital design tools including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) engineered solutions

Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Be open to using existing skills in related areas and comfort with doing new things
  • Take shared ownership of opportunity pursuit, strategy creation, and client relationships
  • Engage with organizations and clients in the region to raise project opportunities
  • Work effectively within a multicultural environment with global teammates
  • Travel up to 20% which may include overnight stays
