Arcadis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Resilience Water Team, focusing on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role involves leading design engineering and construction projects while mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- 10 years of structural engineering experience in Water / Wastewater
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis)
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Structural or Civil/Structural
- Strong structural analysis and design skills
- Proficiency in tools such as STAAD Pro and AutoCAD/REVIT
- Excellent technical writing and editing abilities
- Knowledge of building codes and standards, including IBC and ACI
Responsibilities
- Lead water / wastewater design engineering and construction projects
- Conduct structural condition assessments and produce design calculations
- Research feasibility of alternative design approaches and regulatory specifications
- Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Coordinate with various engineering disciplines and project staff
- Manage production of engineering and construction drawings and cost estimates
- Function as Engineer of Record, Task Manager, or Project Engineer
