Arcadis is seeking an Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer with 3 or more years of experience to join their Water Division team. The role involves providing SCADA/I&C technical and system integration services for water and wastewater treatment facilities, while collaborating with various engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of overall experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related engineering field
- EIT certification, or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire
- Basic Knowledge of PLC controls, SCADA and IT and field networks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project and Outlook)
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering specifications, drawings, and perform calculations for control systems in water/wastewater
- Coordinate with process/mechanical, electrical and other disciplines as needed
- Develop P&IDs, basic control schematics, and panel layout diagrams
- Configure unit process control logic in PLCs/OITs and graphical HMIs
- Manage small projects or tasks that are part of larger projects
