Arcadis is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their Resilience Water team in Ohio, focusing on sustainable water infrastructure projects. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field
- 8 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably supporting water/wastewater infrastructure projects
- Strong proficiency in structural design software, particularly STAAD Pro
- Practical experience using AutoCAD and Revit
- Solid understanding of relevant codes and standards, such as the International Building Code (IBC) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead structural design efforts for a diverse range of water infrastructure projects
- Conduct detailed structural assessments and engineering analyses
- Prepare high-quality technical deliverables, including engineering calculations and construction drawings
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable design solutions
- Support project execution by monitoring scope, schedule, and budget
- Travel up to 25% to conduct site visits and oversee construction activities
