Rivian is seeking a Design-for-Reliability Engineer to focus on mechanical systems for their Electric Adventure Vehicles. The role involves collaborating with design and validation teams to enhance product reliability from concept to production, while fostering a creative and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent
- One or more years of industry experience in a reliability engineering role
- Experience with facilitating FMEAs and leading cross functional teams
- Working knowledge of a coding language, preferably Python
- Working knowledge of statistical software for reliability, such as JMP or the ReliaSoft suite
Responsibilities
- Design reliability into Rivian's Interior systems products from concept to production phases
- Work with design and validation engineers to solve challenging engineering problems
- Serve as the resident reliability development expert to the Interior design team
