Arcadis is seeking a Stormwater Transportation Engineer to join their design group in the southeastern U.S. This role involves working on drainage design projects under the guidance of a Senior Stormwater Engineer, providing opportunities for professional growth and involvement in impactful projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or another closely related field
- Prior experience with drainage design (preferred)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire (preferred)
- Experience with software platforms such as Bentley’s StormCAD, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, HEC-RAS, HY8, ICPR, and/or SWMM (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design drainage and design-build projects including collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and bridge replacements
- Assist with roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies, culvert design, closed drainage system design, post-construction water quality structures design, and erosion and sedimentation control
- Use software platforms to assist with the design and preparation of construction plans
- Take initiative to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines
