Job Description

Netflix is seeking a technical leader for the Messaging Data Science and Engineering team, responsible for shaping the strategy and driving innovation in messaging analytics. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and a passion for complex systems, aiming to enhance member engagement and support new business lines.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience leading Data Science or related area teams.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
A passion for driving and influencing product strategies.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and a strong ownership mindset.
Masters or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of mixed technical roles (Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and Data Engineers).
Drive the vision and roadmap for the team, balancing the needs of multiple business stakeholders.
Be a strategic thought partner to shape the strategy of the broader Messaging domain.
Drive a culture of innovation through collaboration with other leaders.
