Arcadis is seeking Civil Engineers with experience in Water and Wastewater conveyance and treatment design to join their Resilience Water Team in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves collaborating with experienced professionals, supporting project development, and enhancing technical capabilities while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field of study.
- 4 years of relevant experience in design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- EIT/Professional Engineering License, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of being hired.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, design, permit, and support management of projects for water/wastewater conveyance and treatment.
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, site drainage, utility relocations, and grading plans.
- Support professional engineering services during construction, including construction observation and review of shop drawings.
- Assess, develop, and support management of sustainability and resilience projects.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and participate in client meetings.
- Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices and quality, health, and safety standards.
- Learn/use digital tools to enhance customer experience and project delivery.
- Some travel may be required for project site visits and client meetings.
