Job Description

The role focuses on promoting health, safety, and environmental awareness while applying technical knowledge in engineering controls. The candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure compliance with regulations and drive continual improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.

Requirements

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in health, safety, environment, engineering or related field required.
  • Professional certification in HSE-related field preferred.
  • Minimal to intermediate level of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Actively demonstrates safety awareness and promotes a positive health, safety and environmental culture.
  • Works cross-functionally, providing technical expertise to improve hazard prevention and risk control measures.
  • Leads hazard identification, environmental aspect identification and risk assessment programs.
  • Develops and leads training related to hazard prevention and control for employees.
  • Evaluates site health, safety and environmental data to develop improvement plans.
