The Research Program Manager at Facebook is responsible for enhancing operational efficiency and strategic program management within the UX Research team. This role involves collaborating with product and cross-functional teams to optimize research programs and ensure alignment with product roadmaps.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in research operations, program management, or a related field within a technology or insights organization
- Experience diagnosing and fixing operational process issues — identifying bottlenecks, redesigning workflows, and measuring improvement
- Experience managing budgets or resource allocation programs with competing demand across multiple teams
- Analytical skills with experience in operational reporting and data-driven decision making
- Experience working directly with UX research, market research, or product research teams
- Fluent in using AI tools and workflows to drive productivity, project management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Understands how AI is reshaping business problems, products, and processes
Responsibilities
- Map and audit UXR processes end-to-end across the Facebook pillar to identify areas of inefficiency, duplication, and overlap
- Develop a unified rolling research strategy across 5+ continuous programs and introduce an automated triage and intake process
- Identify participant engagement gaps across all recruitment tactics to reduce time-to-recruit
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools as GRO's roadmap delivers them
- Own the monitoring of survey pool utilization and proactively manage capacity
- Coordinate across Facebook's research teams to balance survey pool usage and implement process improvements
- Keep workflows and documentation evergreen while querying tactical survey implementation needs
