Research Program Manager, Facebook

Job Description

The Research Program Manager at Facebook is responsible for enhancing operational efficiency and strategic program management within the UX Research team. This role involves collaborating with product and cross-functional teams to optimize research programs and ensure alignment with product roadmaps.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in research operations, program management, or a related field within a technology or insights organization
Experience diagnosing and fixing operational process issues — identifying bottlenecks, redesigning workflows, and measuring improvement
Experience managing budgets or resource allocation programs with competing demand across multiple teams
Analytical skills with experience in operational reporting and data-driven decision making
Experience working directly with UX research, market research, or product research teams
Fluent in using AI tools and workflows to drive productivity, project management, and cross-functional collaboration
Understands how AI is reshaping business problems, products, and processes

Responsibilities

Map and audit UXR processes end-to-end across the Facebook pillar to identify areas of inefficiency, duplication, and overlap
Develop a unified rolling research strategy across 5+ continuous programs and introduce an automated triage and intake process
Identify participant engagement gaps across all recruitment tactics to reduce time-to-recruit
Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools as GRO's roadmap delivers them
Own the monitoring of survey pool utilization and proactively manage capacity
Coordinate across Facebook's research teams to balance survey pool usage and implement process improvements
Keep workflows and documentation evergreen while querying tactical survey implementation needs
