Netflix is seeking a data engineering leader to guide projects from ideation to production, ensuring data products are built with engineering rigor and strong data quality. Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering
- 6+ years of engineering leadership experience
- Strong programming background (at least 1 major language) and SQL experience
- Experience with client logging solutions
- MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Strong experience with distributed data processing technologies (i.e. Spark/Hadoop) and extensive experience working with data at scale
Responsibilities
- Guide a team by providing relevant context and inspiration
- Recognize and attract top-tier engineers to build a diverse team
- Coach and guide employees through their strengths and weaknesses
- Establish strong relationships with business and technical leaders across Netflix
