Arcadis is seeking a Principal Water/Wastewater Conveyance Engineer to lead a team in San Antonio or Austin, TX. The role involves managing projects, engaging in client development, and providing technical leadership in water and wastewater conveyance design and construction support services.
Requirements
- 12 or more years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- PE License in Texas (or ability to obtain TX PE within 6 months).
- 20+ years of related industry experience (preferred).
- Master’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of projects for various clients across the region.
- Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver outstanding results.
- Oversee project budgets and delivery schedules.
- Lead project teams to ensure all deliverables are met.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the planning, design, and construction phases.
- Prepare construction documents and develop specifications.
- Manage construction oversight and administration.
- Support client development activities and contribute to proposal efforts.
- Collaborate with Area Leaders and client Account Leaders to define project scopes.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
