Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Project Water Wastewater Engineer to join their Resilience Water Team in Virginia or Maryland. The role involves tackling water-related challenges and developing sustainable solutions while collaborating with experienced professionals and managing projects related to water and wastewater systems.

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in engineering and consulting, primarily related to the municipal water market.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • PE License.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about technical challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tasks and projects for the planning, design and construction of Water/Wastewater distribution/collection systems, pump stations, and/or treatment plants.
  • Develop design and construction documents, such as reports, technical memoranda, and specifications.
  • Provide support in the construction administration of projects.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Serve as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on projects.
  • Develop scopes of work and budgets that align with client and organizational expectations.
  • Participate in pursuit capture planning for new project opportunities.
