Arcadis is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in the water-wastewater industry to join their Resilience Water team. This hybrid role focuses on providing technical and design consulting services related to electrical power distribution, controls, lighting, and communications for water projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE)
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical design and coordination tasks with a focus on power distribution, lighting systems, communication systems, fire alarm systems, and control systems
- Utilize CAD software (Autodesk and Bentley products) for electrical system design and documentation
- Establish design criteria and perform design calculations
- Develop electrical design documents including one-line diagrams, control schematics, electrical plans, and specifications
- Provide engineering services during construction, review equipment submittals and shop drawings, and respond to contractor RFIs
- Conduct field inspections to identify deviations from design and ensure safety compliance during construction
- Perform electrical system analysis using tools such as ETAP, SKM Power Tools, and other power systems analysis software
- Travel as required to meet project needs
