The Software and AI organization is looking for a Software Development Engineer to enhance oneDNN, an open-source performance library for deep learning applications. This role involves optimizing algorithms for Intel hardware, contributing to assembly-level programming, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve AI performance across various platforms.
Requirements
- Master or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in C++
- Experience with algorithms and data structures or a mathematical background
- Low-level performance optimizations, preferably on GPUs
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize new features and algorithms for oneDNN targeting Intel processors and GPUs
- Perform performance analysis and optimization for deep-learning inference and training throughput
- Develop hardware-specific parallel algorithms, including multithreading and memory-layout optimizations
- Contribute to assembly-level programming and low-level performance tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with Intel’s AI ecosystem
- Engage with the open-source community and maintain high-quality coding standards
