The Goldman Sachs Private Family Office is seeking an Analyst for the Bill Pay team, which provides accounting services to high net worth clients. The role involves managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance, while ensuring effective communication between clients and advisor teams.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required
- Experience in Excel preferred
- Knowledge of General Ledger accounting, A/P, A/R and/or Payroll a plus
- Small business experience with 1099 and sales/use tax experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities and deadlines
Responsibilities
- Support the Bill Pay team operationally, working closely with management and staff on all core support tasks
- Full responsibility for operational tasks, including open and scanning mail and check custody
- Manage multiple stages of the payment process, such as scanning invoices into accounting software, printing and reviewing check payments, and coordinating outgoing mailings
- Complete payroll audit control processes and download and distribute payroll reports to advisor teams
- Serve as a key liaison to facilitate communication between clients, advisor teams, and the Bill Pay team
- Complete data entry tasks associated with client record keeping and reporting requirements
- Liaise with advisor teams to coordinate 1099 preparation and mailings
- Completion of special projects at the direction of Management
