Job Description

Amazon is seeking a data engineer to build data pipelines and design tools for analyzing large volumes of data. The role involves solving big data warehousing problems and collaborating with stakeholders to implement data solutions that address key business questions, with a focus on leveraging Generative AI.

Requirements

5+ years of data engineering experience
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience with SQL
Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
Experience mentoring team members on best practices

Responsibilities

Harness the power of Generative AI to optimize data source discovery and pipeline development
Build intelligent agents to help Business Intelligence Engineers and Scientists identify emerging opportunities
Create self-service capabilities for stakeholders
