eero is seeking a Senior Software Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional development for next-generation WiFi products. This role involves collaborating with software teams, managing project schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of features that enhance customer value.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent
- 6+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- 6+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
- 6+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Prior experience working with contract manufacturers and chip vendors
Responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements
- Lead cross-functional development on new technology from design through delivery for eero’s next-generation wifi products
- Work with remote teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines
- Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control
- Communicate regularly with hardware team, software team, and CM vendors regarding program/project schedule and releases, help to highlight risks and remove obstacles
- Drive efficient planning, execution, and track program/project status by tools on daily basis
- Generate schedules, program/project reports regularly for board audiences to understand the status and risk
- Host program/project meetings, lead to conclusion, provide meeting minutes, and track action items for the team
- Lead team retrospectives that maximize learning and incorporate improvements into our development processes
