The OneFleet team at Microsoft Azure is seeking a Software Engineer to develop hyperscale solutions for managing infrastructure across multiple clouds. The role emphasizes backend engineering and involves working on AI and supercomputing capacity, supporting both national security and public cloud demands.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
Responsibilities
- Use AI tools and practices across the software development lifecycle in a disciplined manner
- Support debugging, testing, and incident retrospectives to improve product features
- Review product feature code and test code to ensure quality and compliance
- Create and implement code for products, services, or features with minimal supervision
- Understand and provide feedback for architecture proposals and design options
- Contribute to the development of automation within production and deployment processes
- Maintain operations of live site services and respond to issues on-call
- Work with stakeholders to understand and determine customer/user requirements
