As an Engineering Project Manager at Apple, you will lead cross-functional teams and external vendors in the development and implementation of new iPhone designs. Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic execution iPhone Product Design, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and objectives.
- Champion the project's design goals, ensuring they are integrated into all aspects of the program and holding teams accountable for achieving them.
- Lead the creation and adherence of project schedules, ensuring key decision milestones are met across all phases and holding teams accountable.
- Manage budgets, track spending, and ensure financial prudence; proactively identifying appropriate scope drivers and their cost implications.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication and alignment between internal teams (Product Design, System EE & RF, Manufacturing) and external partners, ensuring everyone is working towards the same goals.
- Provide strong leadership and support during build phases, ensuring timely delivery of components, proactive problem-solving, and definition of validation plans.
- Oversee the release process for parts and enclosures, ensuring timely and accurate releases and holding teams accountable for meeting release deadlines.
