Netflix is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to develop scalable and resilient network architectures that support its expanding services, including gaming and advertising. The role involves writing code to automate network configurations and enhance network performance while collaborating with engineering teams to address complex business needs.
Requirements
- Experience developing solutions using cloud-native technologies and frameworks, with a strong focus on scalability and resilience.
- Expertise in cloud networking, particularly within AWS, including VPC design, subnetting, security groups, and routing.
- Experience with Go, Java, Python, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals across layers L2 to L7.
- A deep commitment to continuous learning and the ability to navigate ambiguous areas.
Responsibilities
- Balancing bias to action with the ability to make well-informed bets.
- Engaging directly with end engineering users to understand their needs and improve their experience.
- Writing and maintaining code to solve complex network problems and automate network configuration.
