In this role, you will be the technical owner responsible for defining manufacturing and test requirements for advanced compute and GPU systems. You will lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) manufacturing readiness from prototype builds to high-volume production, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field
- Proven program and project management experience in leading complex products from NPI to high-volume Mass Production
- Understanding of hardware architecture with hands-on experience in testing and validation of compute and GPU systems
- Background in process development, bring-up, and qualification, including Final Assembly, Test, and Packout processes
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with international contract manufacturers
- Analytical problem-solving approaches
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with effective communication
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and validate comprehensive manufacturing and test requirements for advanced compute and GPU systems
- Continuously evaluate and enhance test coverage, methodologies, and infrastructure for hardware reliability and performance
- Lead complex hardware debugging efforts and manage the Major Issue List
- Drive root cause analysis and Failure Analysis and Corrective Actions to resolve systemic hardware issues
- Travel internationally to supplier sites to oversee hardware validation and ensure compliance with test requirements
- Partner with engineering teams to drive power optimizations and performance tuning during manufacturing validation
- Manage the technical transition of products from prototype builds to high-volume manufacturing
