Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field is required.
- Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.
- Entry level/Early career professional.
- Proficiency writing MATLAB scripts and functions.
- At least light experience with Simulink.
- Strong technical communication/presentation skills.
- Experience with test cell testing preferred.
- Experience with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of automotive systems/powertrains would be a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Investigates product, system, and/or technology problems related to thermal and fluid sciences.
- Applies and supports the improvement of processes related to thermal and fluid sciences.
- Obtains input and negotiates with stakeholders to support project decisions.
- Makes decisions in day-to-day project details impacting project progression.
- Owns problem resolution for moderately complex components and systems.
- Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems.
- Contributes effectively toward team goals and develops proficiency in critical competency areas.
