Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a process mechanical engineer with over 2 years of consulting experience to design industrial water and wastewater treatment plants. The role involves preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports, while managing small to midsize design tasks with support from subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years of industrial wastewater experience
  • Experience with water/wastewater equipment for industrial clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Function as the process mechanical engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects
  • Develop engineering designs including drawings, specifications, P&IDs, calculations, and technical reports
  • Coordinate with drafters/designers and other disciplines to complete construction documents
  • Support engineering services during construction, including submittal reviews and responses to requests for information
  • Verify performance and conformity with design drawings and specifications through field inspection and testing
