Job Description

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Sediment Remediation Engineer to support nationwide waterfront projects, including sediment characterization, remediation design, and construction. The role requires demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of remedial actions at contaminated sediment sites.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field of practice
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the sediment field
Professional Engineer license (preferred)
Master’s degree in Engineering or related field of practice (preferred)
Expertise in environmental dredging, sediment capping, or related areas (preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform as an engineer on sediment remediation and waterfront projects nationwide
Manage, lead, and prepare field sampling plans and remedial investigation reports
Lead preparation of client-ready documents and designs
Effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and project scopes, schedules, and budgets
Provide mentoring and training to junior engineers and scientists
Act as a Subject Matter Expert on sediment investigation or remediation projects
Support business development opportunities, including client/regulatory meetings
