Arcadis is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for Building Systems to join their multidisciplinary Design and Engineering team in Seattle, WA. The role involves providing technical expertise in electrical engineering and associated building systems, supporting various projects through design and construction phases.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 4 or more years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical design and specification experience in building systems such as power distribution, lighting design, fire alarm systems, and telecommunications systems
- Design experience producing IFC drawings and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
Responsibilities
- Prepares electrical designs and drawings of building facilities and building electrical systems using computer-aided tools
- Assist to identify cost-effective solutions to design problems
- Knowledge and use of industry standards, building codes, and safety standards
- Liaises internally with project managers and other discipline project leaders to obtain project information
- Assists in creating and presenting technical reports regarding design or study assignments
- Ensures necessary coordination occurs with other disciplines
- Develop strong industry relationships with other design professionals
