Arcadis is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead bridge projects for their Ohio Bridge Team. The role involves technical leadership, collaboration with various disciplines, and delivering innovative solutions for clients, including state DOTs and municipal entities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- 10 or more years’ bridge design experience
- 5 or more years’ ODOT experience
- Ohio PE or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- A valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead engineer for bridges and other structures, including new construction, inspection, repair, and rehabilitation projects
- Collaborate with colleagues in other offices and different areas of expertise
- Review technical packages as part of our internal quality program
- Review technical packages from other consultants as owner’s representative
- Deliver quality plans, calculations, and specifications on schedule
- Complete bridge inspections and load ratings with associated reports
- Assist in preparing proposals for various pursuits
- Assist with preparation of scope and fee proposals for structures work
- Represent the firm at professional organizations and conferences
