KLA is seeking a summer intern for the SFS systems design team to develop and perform measurements and alignments on optical test benches. The intern will analyze quantitative data to provide qualitative results and drive decisions, with a focus on modeling expected results.
Requirements
- Background in engineering or physics with experience in optics.
- Candidate is currently in graduate level studies or undergraduate with 2+ years of laboratory experience.
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment.
- Experience with laser systems, optical alignment, and detection systems.
- Scripting experience with MATLAB, Python, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and perform measurements and alignments on optical test benches.
- Qualify subsystem level components and modules such as sensors, actuators, and light sources.
- Analyze quantitative data to provide qualitative results.
- Model expected results.
