Apple is looking for a System Electrical Engineer to design and integrate electrical subsystems for iMacs. The role involves collaboration with various engineering teams and requires skills in schematic design, PCB layout, and system troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field of study.
- Strong EE fundamentals with an understanding of E&M physics and computer/system architecture.
- Working knowledge of design and validation requirements for digital interfaces like I2C, SPI, USB, and PCIe.
- Experience in circuit design for power, digital, analog, high-speed communications, and wireless.
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Electrical design including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Simulation, bring-up, debug, and validation for Macs.
- Coordinate layout of multilayer PCBs including HDI and fine pitch BGAs.
- Support factory build and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
