Job Description

As a Staff Hardware Engineer, you will design and validate hardware systems for Machine Learning/AI projects, ensuring manufacturability and supporting deployed systems in data centers. You will collaborate with various teams to drive system development from concept to production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience working in hardware systems design, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
  • Experience with power circuit design and signal integrity.
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
  • 10 years of experience with hardware design and bring-up (preferred).
  • Experience in PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, SPI, etc. (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Gather system requirements, define architecture, execute hardware design, and product validation.
  • Lead the bring up, validation, New Product Introduction (NPI), deployment, and sustaining of hardware solutions.
  • Drive system development from concept through production.
  • Lead debug and root cause analysis of deployed systems.
  • Work cross-functionally with Hardware, Software, Power, Mechanical, Thermal, Validation, Signal Integrity, Manufacturing, and external vendors.
