Google is seeking a software engineer to join the Pixel Privacy/Security team, focusing on developing security products and safeguarding user privacy. The role involves analyzing threats, designing security architectures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security features on Pixel devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in the C++ and Java programming languages.
- 2 years of experience in building software for data privacy or security.
- Experience with system security.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
- Experience with CI/CD Infrastructure, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines and systems (preferred).
- Experience with secure hardware features, such as isolated execution environments (e.g., TEE), access control, and secure debug (preferred).
- Understanding of security architecture on Android devices (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure to ensure the quality of security software deliverables, including security audits and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Develop signing infrastructure to guarantee the integrity of Pixel images.
- Work cross-functionally and collaborate with peer teams to design, develop, and deploy security features on Pixel devices.
