KLA is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the installation and maintenance of complex capital equipment. The role involves working under supervision to ensure customer satisfaction through effective troubleshooting, calibration, and performance verification of new tools. Candidates should be technically savvy and able to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems, preferably with experience in high vacuum systems.
- Competent with the MS Office suite and knowledgeable in computer theory, various operating systems, and networking.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in local or remote locations with domestic and international travel.
- Must be technically savvy and possess analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and willing to travel to support installations worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Achieve predictable Cycle Times and Warranty Starts for new tools installed at customer sites.
- Setup, align, calibrate, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair highly complex capital equipment.
- Represent the company to the customer and ensure customer satisfaction with installation activities.
- Assure operational quality of system equipment and verify new tool performance.
- Seek warranty sign-off on newly installed tools.
