Job Description

Amazon is looking for a Project Manager to lead new build infrastructure and expansion projects within their Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability Organization. The role involves managing medium to large capital projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely delivery while adhering to budget constraints.

Requirements

3+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level

Responsibilities

Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations
Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery
Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, escalating as appropriate
Influence design and development of strategic processes
Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
Develop, implement, and govern the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or sub-task
Provide accountability while reporting on status, asking for help, and immediately escalating issues and problems as necessary
Responsible for overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones and Go-Live
