Uber is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Ads Relevance team, which focuses on optimizing the advertising ecosystem. The role involves designing high-performance recommendation systems and collaborating with various teams to enhance the ads technology stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- AdTech experience is required
- Technical strength with experience developing and shipping code for production systems
- Strong system design skills for building scalable and fault-tolerant services
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and production-level debugging
- Strong command of a backend stack (e.g., Golang, Java, Node.js, Python)
Responsibilities
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of high-performance recommendations and ranking systems
- Build a world-class next-gen personalized Ads delivery system
- Work with Product Managers, Machine Learning engineers, Data Scientists, and other Ads SMEs
- Improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the ads tech stack
