Job Description

The People Analytics team is seeking a senior data analyst to leverage data for business insights and decision-making. This role involves analyzing employee survey data, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering actionable insights to enhance organizational health and employee experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Economics, Psychology, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related)
Strong SQL expertise with the ability to independently write complex, efficient queries on large datasets
2+ years of experience analyzing data and delivering insights in a business environment
Experience using tools such as Python, R, Excel, or similar for data analysis
Experience in people analytics, HR data, or employee listening (survey) analysis

Responsibilities

Act as an analytics consultant to the business
Partner with stakeholders to quickly understand business questions and translate them into clear, actionable analyses
Deliver timely, high-quality insights that inform decisions on engagement, retention, performance, and organizational health
Analyze Uber-wide employee survey data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Support survey reporting, interpretation, and storytelling to drive action across teams
Query, clean, and analyze data from multiple data sources (e.g., HRIS, surveys, behavioral data)
Build survey dashboards, reports, and repeatable analyses that enable self-service and scalable insights
Translate data into clear narratives, visualizations, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences
