The People Analytics team is seeking a senior data analyst to leverage data for business insights and decision-making. This role involves analyzing employee survey data, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering actionable insights to enhance organizational health and employee experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Economics, Psychology, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related)
- Strong SQL expertise with the ability to independently write complex, efficient queries on large datasets
- 2+ years of experience analyzing data and delivering insights in a business environment
- Experience using tools such as Python, R, Excel, or similar for data analysis
- Experience in people analytics, HR data, or employee listening (survey) analysis
Responsibilities
- Act as an analytics consultant to the business
- Partner with stakeholders to quickly understand business questions and translate them into clear, actionable analyses
- Deliver timely, high-quality insights that inform decisions on engagement, retention, performance, and organizational health
- Analyze Uber-wide employee survey data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support survey reporting, interpretation, and storytelling to drive action across teams
- Query, clean, and analyze data from multiple data sources (e.g., HRIS, surveys, behavioral data)
- Build survey dashboards, reports, and repeatable analyses that enable self-service and scalable insights
- Translate data into clear narratives, visualizations, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences
