Job description

Meta is looking for an AI Software Engineer to enhance its Research & Development teams, focusing on AI infrastructure and hardware acceleration. The role involves applying expertise to solve significant web-related challenges and mentoring fellow engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Specialized experience in machine learning/deep learning domains such as hardware accelerators architecture, GPU architecture, or ML systems
  • Experience developing AI-System infrastructure or AI algorithms in C/C++ or Python

Responsibilities

  • Apply relevant AI infrastructure and hardware acceleration techniques to build & optimize intelligent ML systems
  • Set goals related to project impact, AI system design, and infrastructure/developer efficiency
  • Drive large efforts across multiple teams and influence partners through data-driven analysis
  • Define use cases and develop methodology & benchmarks to evaluate different approaches
  • Mentor other engineers/research scientists and improve the quality of engineering work in the broader team
