- Optimize the existing sound package to meet the design target (cost, mass, and performance)
- Come up with a creative idea for next generation lightweight sound package
- Conduct and analyze NVH testing of vehicle components to provide design guidance during the design and development process to achieve world-class vehicle attribute targets
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle NVH issues through testing and analysis (TPA, panel contribution, FRF, ODS, etc.)
- Assess and analyze vehicle NVH performance to optimize and enhance NVH attributes
- Engage in collaborative efforts with the design and manufacturing to upload the quality of NVH attributes
- Perform component and full vehicle level testing to support NVH performance validation, attribute targets setting and CAE correlation
- Develop and refine NVH test methods, procedures and processing techniques
- Collect, manage, and process component level data on various suspension parts
- Create virtual tire models from physical test data to aid in setting of attribute targets
Benefits
- Employees at Tesla are often offered day-one coverage with multiple medical options (some at $0 paycheck cost), dental/vision, company HSA contributions, a 401(k) match, and equity programs.
