Job description

Tesla is seeking a program manager intern for the Semi Engineering and Semi Service teams. The role involves planning and executing initiatives to improve fleet uptime and driver support, while collaborating with various teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Communications, Sustainability, Project Management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including experience with data entry, formatting, and basic reporting
  • Basic understanding of data analysis concepts—able to interpret simple datasets, identify trends, and support report development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of drafting clear summaries, documentation, and meeting notes
  • Proactive learner with curiosity about electric vehicles, fleet operations, and sustainable transportation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contributing to team goals

Responsibilities

  • Support coordination of market readiness for the Semi Program in new geographies including charging infrastructure deployment service network setup and logistics planning
  • Creating customer facing content on Tesla’s Semi, Service Programs and Charging products, highlighting capabilities and addressing customer pain points
  • Assist in analyzing fleet performance data to identify trends and support the development of reports and dashboards tracking key metrics such as mean time between failures and service resolution rates
  • Contribute to the development of driver education materials focused on energy efficient driving safety protocols and vehicle diagnostics through research content drafting and feedback integration
  • Help evaluate the feasibility of adapting existing vehicle service programs for the Semi by gathering data comparing requirements and supporting summary reports
  • Support process improvement initiatives by observing maintenance workflows identifying potential bottlenecks and documenting findings for team review
  • Assist in organizing cross functional meetings and workshops by preparing agendas taking detailed notes and tracking action items
  • Conduct research on industry best practices and innovative service models for commercial electric vehicles to identify potential ideas for Tesla’s Semi program
  • Help maintain and organize program documentation in shared repositories to ensure information is up to date and accessible to team members
