Job description

Amazon is seeking motivated students for the Jr. Developer Program, a year-round internship where you will write software and collaborate with experienced engineers. This program offers mentorship, flexible schedules, and the potential for full-time employment upon completion.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
  • Ability to work in person year-round at the Sunnyvale corporate office.
  • Graduating June 2028 and beyond.
  • Majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field.
  • Ability to work year-round until graduation (part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer).
  • Able to start work in June 2026.
  • Must be living within commutable distance to Sunnyvale, CA.
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, or C++ including object-oriented design.

Responsibilities

  • Write real software and contribute to impactful deliverables.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers for guidance and ownership.
