The role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders to enhance security and operational efficiency while driving automation in endpoint management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of client platform engineering experience with large-scale, multi-OS endpoint environments spanning mobile (Android, iOS/iPadOS), macOS, and Windows.
  • Deep expertise in MDM and configuration management tooling, including hands-on administration of platforms such as Ivanti Neurons and Workspace ONE.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting or systems languages - Go, Python, Ruby, or Swift.
  • Deep expertise in the Android ecosystem, including platform architecture and Android Enterprise enrollment modes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Uber's global device fleet, ensuring all devices remain enrolled, compliant, and performant.
  • Design, build, and maintain automation pipelines across provisioning, OS and application update management, and compliance remediation.
  • Expand and harden Uber's endpoint management infrastructure to improve security posture and support user lifecycle processing.
  • Serve as a cross-functional technical partner, collaborating with various teams to identify automation opportunities and build self-service capabilities.
  • Evaluate and onboard new hardware and management technologies, conducting compatibility assessments and building enrollment standards.

Benefits

  • Employees at Uber are often offered comprehensive health, life, disability, and mental wellness benefits, along with wellbeing stipends, travel medical coverage, and monthly Uber credits for Rides and Eats. Employees also get generous paid parental leave, flexible time off, and family-planning support so they can care for themselves and their families at every stage.
