Uber is seeking an actuarial candidate to support its Commercial Auto insurance division by applying traditional actuarial skills in innovative ways. The role involves estimating unpaid claims liability, contributing to the reserving process, and collaborating with various teams to enhance analytic processes and deliverables.

• BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or similar
• 4+ CAS Exams and a minimum of 3 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) actuarial experience
• Excel skills, proficient with SQL (or similar querying language)

• Deploy traditional actuarial skills to support Uber's Commercial Auto insurance
• Contribute to the Quarterly Reserving Process, including data creation and validation
• Build detailed claims analysis and data visualization tools
• Work closely with insurance finance, data science, claims analytics, and actuarial peers
• Communicate/present analysis findings to internal stakeholders
