The Vice President of Platforms at EquityZen will lead strategic initiatives to scale the platform and enhance user experience. This role involves collaborating with leadership to define product vision, managing the product lifecycle, and mentoring a team of product managers in a high-growth fintech environment.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of progressive product management experience
- At least 3+ years in a leadership or people-management capacity
- Deep industry expertise in Fintech, Wealthtech, or heavily regulated financial services
- Undergraduate degree in Technology, Finance, or Economics; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of presenting to C-level executives
- Mastery of the product lifecycle and go-to-market strategies
- Advanced understanding of technical architecture and user-centered design principles
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Executive-level written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional entrepreneurial drive and resilience
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Partner with leadership to define and execute product vision and strategy
- Champion a user-centric culture across the organization
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle for a major product portfolio
- Synthesize quantitative data and qualitative insights to identify market opportunities
- Drive lean and agile methodologies across product pods
- Act as a key strategic liaison with Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Legal
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of product managers
