Job description

Morgan Stanley is seeking an individual to join the Institutional Securities Documentation team within the Fixed Income Division. The role involves negotiating and drafting master agreements for the Commodities desks, collaborating with various internal teams and external clients to ensure effective contract execution.

Requirements

  • JD preferred
  • Experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating the ISDA Master Agreement and other trading documentation preferred
  • College degree required
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and adaptable
  • Must be mature and professional
  • Must be proactive and able to work independently
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgment and integrity

Responsibilities

  • The timely, consistent and effective negotiation, review, and drafting of master agreements upon request from the Business Unit
  • Liaise with Credit, Risk, Legal, Sales, Operations, Tax and other internal groups to ensure appropriate terms are included in all agreements
  • Converse with clients regarding Morgan Stanley’s position in master agreements
  • Keeping work in progress records up to date
  • Keeping informed of business and regulatory developments as they impact the business
