Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced Underwriting Transactor to support the Ultra High Net Worth Commercial Real Estate lending platform. The role involves underwriting and managing new secured transactions, collaborating with senior lending transactors, and ensuring timely coordination with various stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in commercial real estate lending underwriting, origination and/or credit analysis.
• Private Banking Lending experience is a plus.
• Formal credit training a plus.

• Evaluate UHNW Lending opportunities specific to commercial real estate.
• Perform underwriting and due diligence regarding collateral property and sponsors.
• Prepare underwriting credit memoranda outlining transaction details.
• Identify key risks and propose structural protections.
• Manage loan transactions including underwriting, credit approval, and documentation.
• Engage in ongoing portfolio maintenance and update loan portfolio metrics.
