Meta's Infrastructure Data Center (IDC) is seeking a highly experienced technical leader to join their Data Science team as a senior individual contributor. This role involves defining technical strategy, driving high-impact data science initiatives, and effectively communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, all while adapting to the evolving AI landscape.

• 10+ years of experience in a Data Science, Applied Science, or Analytical Engineering role
• Exceptional technical background in Data Science, Machine Learning, and statistical methods
• Extensive experience in the Data Center, Infrastructure, Cloud, or relevant hyperscaler domains
• Demonstrated ability to function as a technical storyteller
• Proven experience driving technical strategy in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in programming and querying languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
• B.S. or M.S. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics

• Serve as the foremost technical authority and individual contributor for Data Science within the IDC organization
• Lead the development and execution of technical solutions for high-priority IDC initiatives
• Represent IDC Data Science in high-stakes technical discussions with cross-functional partners
• Act as a technical thought leader, driving innovation in Data Science and analytics
• Translate complex technical work into clear narratives for diverse audiences
• Proactively adapt the team's technical roadmap to incorporate the latest developments in AI
• Provide deep technical mentorship and guidance to other Data Scientists and Engineers
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to drive the full lifecycle of data science solutions
