Job description
Netflix is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Media Science DSE team, focusing on data science and metrics to enhance content media production and management workflows. The role involves collaborating with product managers and business teams to design metrics, develop analytic tools, and provide insights that drive global media production strategy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience with data wrangling, data analysis, metric visualization, and data storytelling
- Expert in SQL and Python, with experience in data visualization tools like Tableau, Plotly, or Streamlit
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with strong business acumen
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
- Experience designing observational causal inference studies and A/B tests is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute new measurement frameworks and identify analytic opportunities
- Drive the direction of work, from scrappy code to high-visibility dashboards
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with business, product, and data-oriented stakeholders
- Present analytical methodology and findings to both technical and non-technical partners
- Collaborate with other Analytics Engineers & Data Engineers to source data and strengthen foundational data models
