Job description

Netflix is seeking a UI Engineer to join their Content & Business Products Engineering teams, focusing on optimizing and automating the content creation process. The role involves building user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying engineering best practices to enhance workflows and user experiences.

Requirements

  • Passionate about user experience and improving UIs
  • Experience with HTML/JavaScript/TypeScript/CSS
  • Familiarity with React, GraphQL, and other libraries/frameworks
  • Strong sense of ownership and collaboration
  • In-depth knowledge of web performance and accessibility

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, deploy, and launch UIs that operationalize workflows at scale
  • Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight
  • Evaluate new technologies to improve application development tooling
  • Lead incident reviews and participate in on-call rotation
  • Communicate complex technical issues and solutions to stakeholders

Benefits

  • Employees at Netflix are often offered flexible, people-first benefits—unlimited time away, generous parental leave, global family-forming support, mental-health programs (mindfulness, free counseling/coaching), and health coverage tailored by country. Financially, Netflix pays at personal top-of-market and lets employees choose their mix of cash vs. fully-vested 10-year stock options, alongside donation and volunteer matching. Convenience perks can include trust-based travel/expense policies, relocation support, and “Work, Not Drive” rideshare flexibility.
