Job description

Tesla is seeking a robotics software integrations engineer to lead deployments and provide production support for fleet management and robot control software across its factories. The role requires a blend of software engineering and project leadership to ensure the reliability and performance of robotics systems.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a robotics or automation integration role
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in project management or deployment coordination
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and operations teams
  • Experience with backend technologies (Go, C/C++, SQL) and DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD)

Responsibilities

  • Represent factory operations in the development and deployment of robotics applications
  • Provide hands-on support for production systems, including triaging issues and debugging software
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to gather requirements and validate solutions
  • Ensure system reliability and uptime through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as incident commander for critical production issues, coordinating teams to resolve incidents
